So instead of going on facebook over the weekend, I've spent my computer time reading up on chess strategies. I can't believe how complex this is... I figured that if I just played and gained experience I would magically become good and learn different things as I go.
I'm going to go out and buy a "Chess for Dummies" book tomorrow and see if that can simplify it for me... these online guides aren't very helpful. In the meantime, I'm going to play online and hopefully set up a match with someone for Wednesday night.
